Our programs
Every CABA Progressive program exists to connect people who have something to offer each other, across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Noosa regions. Here's how we're doing that right now.

Free digital skills workshops for our mature community members, delivered by young youth leaders. Digital skills open doors — to staying in touch with family, managing everyday tasks online, and feeling confident in a world that keeps moving faster.
It's not just a program for participants — it's real leadership and teaching experience for the young people who deliver it.
Students learn fastest from people already doing the work. The Industry Mentoring Program pairs industry experts with students as genuine mentors — not supervisors ticking off a placement, but people who walk alongside students on real initiatives, like planning and running an event.
For mentors, that means clear guidance on what good mentoring actually looks like: how involved to be, what support students need, and how to make it meaningful rather than a box-ticking exercise.
Our sponsorship program lets business partners directly support the education of a young person aged 14 to 24 — and get something real in return: a genuine work placement with that student, and a story about the partnership, created by the student themselves, shared across our network.
It's community investment with a visible outcome, not just a donation into the void.
Our community, business and education partners rarely all end up in the same room — so we built one. Connection Rounds are small, structured gatherings where partners sit at guided tables, respond to real prompts, and hear directly from students and businesses about what's working.
It's where our network actually meets — and where we gather the feedback that keeps every other program improving.
